We are looking for an Application Support Operative to join our Supercentre team, supporting key yard operations that ensure our specialist equipment is prepared, stored, and delivered safely and on time to projects across the country. You will be yard-based, assisting with various projects simultaneously, prioritising tasks such as loading and unloading lorries to ensure timely delivery of our specialist equipment to meet project timelines.
Responsibilities include:
1. Assisting with the assembly of equipment required for specialist applications, e.g., fitting submersible pumps onto dry well/wet well stands.
2. Preparing ancillaries and accessories, ensuring equipment quality before hire, and reporting damages to the Application Support Supervisor/Manager promptly.
3. Loading and unloading internal and external vehicles with required equipment, checking hire items against paperwork, and recording missing or damaged items upon return to the supercentre.
4. Cleaning returned goods as needed, following safe work systems, to facilitate timely pre-hire checks.
5. Being flexible with working hours to meet project and business needs.
6. Accurately completing and submitting all necessary records to required standards and deadlines.

Requirements include:
* Previous experience in logistics or a similar environment.
* Ability to work under tight deadlines.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Teamwork skills.
* Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, managing multiple projects and collaborating with internal departments.
* A full UK driving licence is required, as driving a company vehicle will be necessary.
* Forklift licence is preferred; training can be provided to suitable candidates.
