Job Summary

Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
* Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and portioning.
* Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the cooking process.
* Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to ensure adequate supplies are available.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control of dishes.
* Supervise junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
* Keep the kitchen area clean and organised, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Participate in menu planning and development as required.
Experience
* Previous experience in a kitchen or food production environment is essential.
* Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills.
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality.
* Leadership qualities with the ability to supervise and motivate team members effectively.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work well under pressure in a busy setting.
