Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Shunter Driver to join our team in Whittlesey. The role involves safely and efficiently moving trailers around a busy factory site, ensuring smooth site operations at all times.
Shifts:
4 on 4 off
* 22:00-06:00
Pay:
£19.31 Monday - Friday
£20.88 Weekends
Key Responsibilities:
* Shunting trailers around the factory site
* Opening and closing trailer sheets as required
* Working closely with site teams to ensure efficient trailer movements
* Adhering to all site safety and operational procedures
Requirements:
* Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
* Minimum 6 months of Class 1 driving experience
* Shunting experience is required
* Previous tug experience desirable but not essential
* Strong attention to safety and detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
