Job Description:
The University of Hull has adopted a new professional service delivery model following extensive consultation with stakeholders from across the University. The majority of professional services are centralised with a hub and spoke model, ensuring that University-level central teams operate efficiently to enable growth, share knowledge and best practices for a consistent approach, and drive continuous improvement. A unified professional service culture underpins close partnering and seamless service across central and Faculty teams.
The Student Service Delivery (SSD) team manages enquiries and provides information to prospective and current students via the student portal, CRM, telephony, and a new service centre. It is the core of student services, supporting a student-centred service delivery model. The team analyses data from enquiry channels to improve services, sets and monitors standards, and collaborates with other service providers to ensure integrated, end-to-end services.
The Associate Director will champion a student-centred approach to service design and delivery, excel in communication, and build effective relationships within and across teams. Fostering a community of practice, striving for excellence, and cultivating a culture of ownership among staff and service users will be essential.
