Shift Pattern
4 on / 4 off (full-time, rolling rota) with overnight stays when required
About the Team
We are launching a brand-new Intensive Support Worker Mobilisation Team, dedicated to setting up and stabilising complex care packages across Birmingham and beyond. This specialist team will play a vital role in our growth, ensuring safe, high-quality care is delivered from day one, whilst permanent local teams are established. Between new mobilisations, you will also support existing complex care packages, helping provide consistency and continuity of care.
Your Responsibilities
* Deliver personalised, high-quality care to individuals with complex health needs.
* Support safe hospital discharges and mobilisation of new care packages.
* Provide clinical support in line with individual care plans.
* Work collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and colleagues.
* Maintain accurate records while ensuring safety and compliance at all times.
Qualifications and Skills
* Experience: At least 5 years UK health and social care experience, including complex clinical care.
* Core clinical skills (Tier 1): Bowel & bladder management catheter care, bladder washouts, manual evacuation.
* Non-invasive respiratory support CPAP, Bi-Pap.
* Basic physiotherapy e.g. passive movements.
* Enteral feeding feeds and medication administration.
* Learning Disability & Autism support, including behaviours of concern.
* Tier 2 Specialist Skills (£22.00 per hour + mileage): Airway management tracheostomy care and invasive ventilation; Prescribed suctioning (nasopharyngeal/oropharyngeal); Supporting people with complex behaviours.
