Team Leader: Hull and East Riding

We are recruiting for a Team Leader in Hull and East Riding.

We deliver a range of MOJ-commissioned rehabilitative services (CRS) directly for Probation in three key areas: Accommodation, Personal Wellbeing, and Dependency and Recovery. Accommodation services are delivered in Wales, Dependency and Recovery in London and Humberside, and Personal Wellbeing in East of England, Sussex, Surrey, as well as subcontracted in Kent and Cheshire.
These services work with men aged 18+ who are under probation supervision, supporting them in navigating their desired outcomes to achieve transformational change, break the cycle of offending, and achieve long-term societal integration.

Roles and Responsibilities
As a Team Leader in the Dependency and Recovery Services, you will work within a hybrid model as part of a flexible, multidisciplinary team, operating both in person and traveling across probation delivery units: Hull, Bridlington, Goole, Beverley, and HMP Hull/Humber. This is an in-person role, and you will be expected to work daily from these locations.
The service aims to improve client engagement with treatment services and bridge the gap between probation and community substance misuse services by providing practical assistance and ongoing support through time-bound, enforceable, and motivational interventions.
You will manage a team of practitioners delivering the Dependency and Recovery Service to adult males under probation supervision, supporting them in implementing their action plans and navigating their recovery journeys. You will build and maintain positive relationships with probation colleagues and all stakeholders involved in service users' care. Full embedding within probation offices is required to promote our work.
You will provide visible leadership, traveling across your responsible locations, attending essential meetings, and ensuring smooth project delivery to maintain high-quality service provision.
Our service success depends on staff recruitment, development, retention, and practice. You will be highly people-focused, providing coaching and practical support to enable your staff to thrive, in conjunction with the service manager.
All probation-based roles require enhanced DBS and HMPPS security vetting, which can take 3-6 weeks. All offers are subject to receiving both vettings and clearances. Checks include:
