Senior Manager Role:
We are seeking a Senior Manager to lead our Indirect Tax team. As the key point of contact within the tax department, you will be responsible for overseeing all VAT obligations and ensuring compliance with current legislation.
About The Role
* This role requires previous experience in a dedicated VAT or indirect tax management position and managing teams.
* You must have CTA qualifications and proven leadership skills along with excellent people skills to maintain an established positive team culture.
* The ideal candidate should possess advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint (or Google equivalents), financial systems like SAP FI, self-motivation and proactive attitude to work on projects independently solving problems as they arise.
Main Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include acting as the interface between Tax GB & Tax International for VAT-related queries & reporting coordinating submission UK-VAT returns related supplementary declarations ensuring consistency & compliance current legislation processing topics -related-to-financial-systems data-integrity holistic-view results carrying-out-special-analysis liabilites opportunities cross-departmental support-project-with-implications e.g new systems business streams acquisitions identifying-improvement-potential jointly other-business departments streamlining-VAT-processes liaison-building-relationships internal-external-stakeholders HMRC-tax-advisors TaxIntl ensuring-compliance-future-proof-development Vat-area
