* Pay: £175 – £250 per day (depending on experience)

The Role
A Good-rated secondary school in Birmingham is seeking an enthusiastic History Teacher to join their Humanities department from January 2026. This full-time, long-term supply role involves teaching History across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that bring historical events and themes to life.
You’ll be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons, assessing pupil progress, and preparing students for GCSE examinations. The department is collaborative and supportive, making this an excellent opportunity to make a real impact in the classroom.
The Candidate
We’re looking for a motivated History specialist who can inspire curiosity and critical thinking. You should be:
* A qualified teacher with QTS (applications from ECTs are welcome)
* Confident teaching History at KS3 and KS4
* Passionate about developing students’ analytical and written skills
* Organised, adaptable, and confident managing classroom behaviour
* A positive team player with strong subject knowledge
