About the Role:
We’re looking for a creative, strategic and hands-on Social Media Executive to take ownership of our always-on social media presence. This role is central to building our brand, growing our community, and driving real results — including lead generation and retailer engagement — through standout social content.
You’ll lead the planning and execution of organic social campaigns across all key platforms and play a pivotal role in capturing content at live events and retail shows throughout the year. If you’re equally comfortable behind the camera and behind the strategy, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
* Social Media Strategy & Execution
* Plan and manage always-on social content across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and X, ensuring a consistent, high-quality brand presence.
* Content Creation (Always-On & Live)
* Shoot and edit short-form content (especially Reels and TikToks) both in-house and on-site at events, campaigns, and store visits.
* Data-Driven Growth
* Support lead-generation and community-building through content that drives data capture (e.g. newsletter signups, campaign participation, downloads).
* Campaign & Brand Integration
* Work closely with the Senior Content Marketing Manager to amplify key stories, launches, retail makeover projects, and partner activations.
* Community Engagement
* Engage directly with our community by responding to comments, building relationships, and championing our independent retail network.
* Analytics & Optimisation
* Monitor performance metrics across platforms, track content success, and feed insights into content planning and testing.
What You’ll Need
* 1–2+ years of social media experience (brand or agency-side)
* Confidence in mobile-first content creation: filming, editing, and posting across key platforms
* Proven ability to grow engagement and community through creative storytelling
* Strong writing and visual communication skills
* Familiarity with tools like CapCut, Canva, Adobe, Later/Planoly, Hubspot etc.
* Highly organised, responsive and comfortable working at pace — especially around live events
Bonus Points For:
* Experience with retail, events, or working with creators/influencers
* Knowledge of lead-generation or CRM-integrated social content
* Paid social or boosting experience
* Personal passion for independent retail, small businesses, or creative storytelling
