We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Night Healthcare Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare staff to ensure a holistic approach to care.
- Maintain accurate records of residents' progress and any changes in their condition.
- Drive residents to appointments or activities as required, ensuring their safety during transport.
- Participate in training sessions and meetings to enhance skills and knowledge related to healthcare practices.
- Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation within the care home environment.
Skills
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with residents and team members.
- Ability to drive is essential for transporting residents when necessary.
- Familiarity with IT systems for maintaining records and communicating care plans efficiently.
- Experience in home care or care home settings is advantageous but not mandatory.
- A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others is crucial for success in this role.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when required.
