OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
To program, set and manufacture small-batch aerospace components.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Responsible for setting/operating and manufacturing a variety of small-batch components from engineering drawings to within tight limits,
2. Responsible for manufacturing all components within the agreed timescales,
3. Responsible for setting a variety of CNC machine tools for operators as and when required,
4. Responsible for using a wide range of measuring equipment to check small-batch components after manufacture,
5. Responsible for mentoring new staff as required,
6. Responsible for maintaining the agreed quality rating at all times,
7. Responsible for making sure that manufactured product is suitably protected for transit,
8. Responsible for working in the order of the manufacturing plan at all times,
