Equine Receptionist
Hours over 4 days with some flexibility available.
A dedicated equine only veterinary practice is seeking a receptionist with a strong understanding of the community of horse and pony owners and carers in the North-East. We are a busy first opinion and referral clinic, operating with 6 vets and a challenging and inexorable demand for gold standard service. We need a robust, resilient and pragmatic person to join our established team of receptionists to ensure the smooth operation of the clinic.
We are looking for a flexible person with positive and engaging manner. The position is a front of house post with some administrative duties required including transcript of medical notes, invoice generation and management of extensive email enquiries. It is essential that the post-holder understands the demands on the veterinary surgeon and can reconcile those to meet the needs of the client, and the workload of the vet. This is a fast paced and reactive environment where no two days are the same.
The practice has been rated a 3 Star World Class Employer for the previous 2 years and has a structured approach to employee support.
Experience in and knowledge of the equine species in a veterinary practice or equine related industry is essential. Reception or administrative experience is desirable but full training will be given.
Salary £12.21 per hour
