We are looking for a reliable, trauma-informed tutor who can provide 6 hours per week of 1:1 support in Maths, English and Science. This is a meaningful opportunity to make a genuine difference to a Year 10 looked-after young person in DT11, helping them re-engage with their learning, rebuild confidence, and make progress at a pace that feels safe and achievable for them. This young person (M) is currently looked after and has recently moved foster placements. M struggles significantly in a classroom setting and cannot currently access learning in a large group environment. As a result: - School attendance is below 70% - Lesson attendance is even lower due to difficulties coping in school Despite this, M has strong potential with the right support and previously made good use of 1:1 tutoring and now needs this reinstated As M is now in Year 10, it is important to support them in preparing for GCSE pathways, strengthening foundational Maths and English skills, and building confidence for exam preparation.
