Apprentice (Housing Management) Have an interest in helping to providing a good standard of living to residents in the County? Then an apprenticeship in Housing Management could be ideal for you! You will be responsible for providing day to day support and housing management services to tenants who are living in Durham County Council managed properties. This will include working with vulnerable people to ensure they are able to sustain successful tenancies and may include assisting tenants on Gypsy Roma Traveller sites. You will also be assisting tenants in new council housing, as part of the Council’s programme to build new social housing. We will require you to demonstrate a good standard of comprehensive tenancy management skills. What qualification will I gain? You will study towards the Housing and Property Management Level 3 standard with New College Durham. What will I need? You must either have or expect to achieve 2 GCSE’s grade 9-4/AC in Maths and English or an equivalent Level 2 qualification, together with good communication and ICT skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
