This is a great opportunity for an experienced Commercial Manager to join a main contractor on a Major Project in Orkney. This is a Energy/Civils related project.
Our client is looking for a Commercial Manager to join the existing Commercial team managing around 6 surveyor. This is an initial 6 month contract with the view to potentially to last 2 years and beyond. with the opportunity to move on to other upcoming projects beyond this. This role falls inside IR35.

Package offered for this Commercial Manager role:
· £460-£530 per day based on experience
· Inside IR35
· 6 month initial contract with potential for future extension

Key responsibilities for this Commercial Manager role:
- Lead Commercial performance
- Contract management
- Control budgets, maximising revenue and margin
- Managing procurement and sub contractors
- Risk Management
- Lead a team and lead by example
- Provide commercial input and support for new bids and tender opportunities
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
Experience required for this Commercial Manager role:
- Experience in a similar role
- Experience working on large civil engineering projects
- NEC experience
- This does require a large amount of time on site therefore flexibility required
- Managing a team
