A successful, long-established, privately owned business group is seeking a dependable, hands-on Company Accountant to take full ownership of its management accounts and day-to-day finance function across multiple trading entities.
This is a key, in-house Company Accountant role offering variety, responsibility, and long-term stability. It's perfectly suited to a Company Accountant who enjoys autonomy, visibility, and being closely involved in the operational side of a growing business.
🔑 The Opportunity
As the Company Accountant, you will be responsible for the full management accounting and bookkeeping function across several trading businesses, including:
* Full bookkeeping through to monthly management accounts
* VAT returns and tax preparation
* Xero accounting across multiple companies
* Budgeting, cost control and cashflow management
* Providing financial insight and support directly to the director
This is a hands-on, in-house Company Accountant role where you will run the finance function end-to-end at management account level.
