Reporting to Production Area Manager
The Role
1. Train all team members to be fully competent at all aspects of their roles, ensuring there are sufficient skillsto cover holidays and absence. Maintain training records for each team member.
2. Liaise closely with other production sections on supply and availability of materials. Ensure the timely supplyof materials to the production section.
3. Establish and maintain accurate records of production standards, including optimal production rates andchangeover times.
4. Monitor actual production performance against target and planned production. Implement improvementplans to increase production efficiencies, reduce downtime, and improve yields.
5. Record downtime and actual run rates. Analyse lost time reports and implement corrective action toimprove performance.
