Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4 (can be KS5)
* Encourage students to develop confidence in reading, writing, and analysis
* Adapt teaching approaches to support students with varying needs, including SEND
* Track and support student progress and attainment
* Contribute positively to the wider school community
Qualifications
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending qualification
* Strong knowledge of the English curriculum
* Effective classroom management skills
* Genuine enthusiasm for supporting student development in literacy
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
