Job Title: Year 4 SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Primary School – Wythenshawe (M23) Contract Type: Full-Time / Term-Time Salary: £13.50 - £14.50 an hour About the Role We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 4 pupil with additional needs in a friendly and inclusive primary school in Wythenshawe. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide tailored support and help the child thrive both academically and socially. Key Responsibilities Deliver 1:1 support for a Year 4 pupil with SEN, ensuring their individual needs are met. Assist the class teacher in adapting lessons and resources. Implement strategies outlined in the pupil’s Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). Encourage positive behaviour and emotional well-being. Liaise with teachers, SENCO, and parents to monitor progress. Requirements Experience supporting children with SEN (preferably KS2). Patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.
