Residential Conveyancer | Taunton
TSR Legal are pleased to be working with a respected and expanding law firm seeking a Residential Conveyancer to join its established Property team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and technically capable conveyancer to handle a broad range of high-quality residential property matters within a supportive and collaborative environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering exceptional client service while managing a varied caseload of residential conveyancing transactions, including new builds, shared ownership, and equity release matters.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing all aspects of residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion
* Undertaking complex residential conveyancing work, including the setup of leasehold developments
* Ensuring thorough due diligence across all stages of property transactions
* Demonstrating strong and up-to-date knowledge of residential property law, including:
o Leasehold and Freehold Transactions
o Registered and Unregistered Properties
o Sales and Purchases
o Remortgages
o New Build Matters
o Right to Buy and Help to Buy Schemes
o Shared Ownership
o Lease Extensions
o Deeds of Variation
o Other specialist residential property schemes
* Conducting legal research where necessary to provide accurate and practical advice
* Delivering exceptional levels of client care and maintaining strong relationships with all parties involved in transactions
* Achieving individual billing and performance targets
* Managing a busy and varied caseload effectively while adapting to changing priorities
* Ensuring files are maintained to a high standard and matters progress efficiently
* Building strong internal relationships and supporting colleagues across the wider department
* Contributing positively to team projects and wider business objectives
* Supporting the continued growth of the team through excellent client service and professional reputation
The Ideal Candidate
* Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Chartered Legal Executive
* Strong experience handling residential conveyancing matters independently
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Commercially minded with a proactive and client-focused approach
* Able to manage competing priorities effectively within a fast-paced environment
* Team-oriented with a collaborative attitude
