Health & Social Care - Adult Services About the Role We are recruiting an experienced Service Operations Manager to lead and oversee an adult social care services based in Bangor, Northern Ireland. This is a senior leadership role responsible for delivering high-quality, person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities, autism, and behaviours that may challenge. You will provide strategic and operational leadership to multidisciplinary teams, ensuring safe, effective, and compliant service delivery with a strong focus on Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and trauma-informed practice. Key Responsibilities Provide strong leadership to deliver high-quality, person-centred services with measurable outcomes Lead, manage, and support multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated and holistic care Embed Positive Behaviour Support and trauma-informed practice across services Ensure regulatory compliance (including RQIA) through audits, quality reviews, and continuous improvement Manage budgets, staffing models, and resources to ensure safe and sustainable operations Build a high-performance culture through supervision, coaching, and reflective practice Lead safeguarding, risk management, and crisis response processes Act as a key point of contact for families, commissioners, and partner agencies Represent the service professionally and advocate for people supported Essential Criteria Significant leadership experience within supported living or adult social care services QCF Level 5 / NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care Management (or equivalent) Eligible for NISCC registration and Enhanced Access NI clearance Strong working knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support and trauma-informed approaches Proven experience in people management, supervision, and workforce planning Sound financial and resource management skills Excellent communication, judgement, and decision-making abilities In-depth knowledge of safeguarding, risk assessment, and incident management Strong understanding of regulatory standards and inspection readiness Full UK driving licence (desirable) Qualification & Experience Requirements Applicants must meet one of the following : Option 1 Professional social work qualification (NISCC registered), or Registered nurse (NMC), or Registered allied health professional (HCPC), AND Minimum 4 years' experience in health or social care At least 2 years in a relevant operational management role OR Option 2 QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services (Adults' Management - Wales & NI) AND Minimum 5 years' experience in health or social care At least 2 years in an operational management role For more information- get intouch with Hannah Hollywood Harry @ Staffline Recruitment Ireland Skills: Autism Challenging Behavior Management
