ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Junior Designer to join the dynamic Cole Buxton design team. In this role, you will work across all product categories, supporting the creation and development of our collections from concept through to final product.
As a Junior Designer, you will play a pivotal role in conceptualising, designing, and executing future projects, contributing directly to the progression of our fast-growing luxury menswear brand. This position is ideal for someone with a creative and proactive mindset, eager to develop their skills and make a meaningful impact within a collaborative team environment.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
* Collaborate with the design team to develop new collections, garments, graphics, and prints — from initial ideation through to final product.
* Produce high-quality sketches, CADs, technical drawings, and detailed tech packs using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Procreate. As well as preparing print placements for factories.
* Contribute to fittings, handovers, and design meetings in partnership with the Product Development team.
* Source fabrics, vintage, reference garments, liaise with suppliers, and attend visits to factories and suppliers in London and across Europe.
* Drive the design process from mood board creation and concept development through to sample launches with factories.
* Manage time effectively, working creatively under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
* Request and organise new fabrics, trials and developments
* Actively participate in design meetings, confidently presenting ideas and collaborating with the Creative and Design teams.
ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES
* Contribute to exciting projects, collaborations, and product launches.
* Support the brand’s creation of visual materials such as showroom invitations, look books, and other creative projects.
* A chance to participate in design, creation and visualisation of Cole Buxton sets, activations, pop ups, events.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
* BA in Fashion Design
* Industry experience working within a fashion brand.
* Strong computer skills with proficiency in CAD, Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, and Illustrator/Procreate.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisation with a willingness to learn from industry experts.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment and take direction from Seniors.
* Highly organised, with the capability to manage multiple projects and heavy workloads while meeting tight deadlines.
* Confident communicator, able to present design ranges clearly and effectively to management.
* Detail-oriented problem solver, skilled at identifying issues early and collaborating with teams and manufacturers to resolve them efficiently.
* Flexible, proactive, and adaptable, with a diligent approach to supporting team needs.
