Main duties of the job The main duties of the job are: - Wound care dressings including compression. Removal of stitches Perform NHS Health checks, weight monitoring, and Long-Term Condition monitoring including diabetic foot checks Provide lifestyle advice to patients making any necessary referrals. ECG Phlebotomy Administer B12 injections under PSDs signed by GPs. Administer annual influenza vaccinations/pneumonia under PSD.
BP monitoring. Injections, including B12, Zoladex, Whooping cough, Shingles under PSD. Re-stocking of all clinical areas and maintaining stocks and keeping all areas clean. To maintain and order clinical supplies.
Using appropriate templates in EMIS/Ardens for all procedures, training will be given in this area. Any other duties that are deemed appropriate.
