Sales & Operations Planner - Epping £40,000 - £50,000 Are you a S ales & Operations Planning professional (S&OP) or Supply Chain Manager looking for a role where you can lead with a clear purpose? If you're passionate about leveraging data to optimize processes and drive business success, this role is for you The Role: As the lead Sales and Operations Planner, you will be pivotal in guiding and leading the understanding of how activities impact the S&OP process. You'll forecast sales based on a hybrid mix of historical quantitative information and qualitative feedback on sales and marketing activities, both internally and from customers. Key Responsibilities: Continually develop statistical models to optimize the performance of forecasting software Reflex. Review and analyze forecast demand versus actual demand, setting events to adjust for historical fluctuations and manual history to offset stock outs. Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to ensure future promotions, visible impact orders, and new product forecasts are included in aggregate demand. Notify demand planners of significant forecasts or capacity changes promptly. Assist sales in resolving short-term key supply challenges by allocating stock across relevant sales channels. Share monthly 18 months' forecasts. Facilitate monthly demand forecast aggregation, ensuring consensus between functions and stakeholders. Contribute to the continuous improvement of demand planning and S&OP processes. Measure, control, and improve S&OP plan accuracy through clearly defined metrics.
