SEND Teaching Assistant

We are currently seeking dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to join a supportive school environment for children with a wide range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children thrive both academically and emotionally.
No previous school experience is required, as full training can be provided. We also welcome applicants from backgrounds with transferable skills, including healthcare, care work, support work, youth work, coaching and graduates looking to gain valuable experience in education and SEND support.
About Us
You will play a vital role in supporting pupils with varying SEND needs, helping them to access learning and develop confidence in a safe and nurturing environment. Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups

Assisting with learning activities tailored to individual needs
*
Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
*
Helping to create a calm, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
*
Working closely with teachers and the wider support team
