Overview
Kernow Veterinary Group are looking for a small animal vet to join our team. This role is full time, 40 hours over a 4 day working week, with flexibility for part-time applicants. Our current team consists of 22 small animal vets across five small animal sites, plus a dedicated farm & equine team. We emphasise work/life balance and a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality small animal veterinary care and case management.
* Contribute to the out-of-hours rota for in-patient care and weekend day cases (current rota: 1:10 weekends).
* Collaborate with RVN nursing support at the main site, and participate in emergency OOH night cover in collaboration with a neighbouring practice.
* Follow cases through with clinical freedom within a supportive team; contribute to maintaining patient and client care standards.
Qualifications
* Qualified Veterinary Surgeon.
* Interest in ongoing professional development; certificates in ophthalmology, emergency medicine, dermatology, or behaviour are advantageous.
Location & Schedule
Mid Cornwall. Full-time role (40 hours per week) over a 4-day week; flexible arrangements considered for the right candidate.
Salary & Benefits
Salary up to £70,000 FTE DOE; £0 - £70,000 a year listed.
