Commercial Partnerships Lead (Maternity Cover)
Hybrid – London (3 days office / 2 days WFH)
We are seeking a Commercial Partnerships Lead to join the UK & Ireland business of one of the world’s leading consumer electronics brands. In this role, you will define and deliver the platform partnership strategy, driving growth through high-value content partnerships and marketing activation across connected consumer devices.
This is a senior, high-impact role where you will elevate the user experience through strategic relationships spanning TV, video, gaming, music, fitness and digital art, ensuring compelling content and connected experiences for millions of users.
You will lead a small partnerships team and work cross-functionally with marketing, product, legal, government affairs and international stakeholders to deliver commercial success and long-term platform growth.
Responsibilities:
Partnership Strategy & Leadership
* Lead and develop the UK & Ireland Partnerships team.
* Define and execute the content partnership strategy across connected platforms and devices.
* Own senior relationships with key content and technology partners.
Commercial & Platform Delivery
* Oversee the acquisition and launch of major content applications across consumer platforms.
* Lead commercial and contractual negotiations, including legal execution.
* Deliver against KPIs across revenue, marketing partnerships, promotions and in-life user engagement.
Marketing & Activation
* Own partnership marketing and promotional strategies to drive visibility, usage and engagement.
* Collaborate closely with marketing teams to deliver best-in-class platform promotions.
Stakeholder & Industry Engagement
* Act as a key liaison with European and global teams.
* Support regulatory and public affairs activity, including engagement with industry bodies.
* Represent the business in relevant industry forums.
Skills required:
* Strong experience leading commercial partnerships within consumer technology, connected platforms, OTT media or digital ecosystems.
* Proven background in commercial negotiations, contracts and strategic partnerships.
* Solid understanding of digital platforms, app ecosystems and content distribution.
* A strategic and analytical mindset with strong stakeholder management skills.
* Experience leading teams and operating in complex, matrixed organisations.
This is a hybrid working role, with three days in the office and two days working from home. Please note, this is a fixed-term contract, so ideally, we are seeking immediately available candidates only.
