Pertemps Lincoln are currently recruiting for Parcel Sorters to work for our client based in North Hykeham, Lincoln.
This role offers regular hours across 5 shifts in a 7-day period, which can include weekends. You’ll be working within a friendly and fast-paced warehouse team, helping to keep parcels moving efficiently through the network
What will I be doing as a Parcel Sorter?
1. Sorting parcels by postcode and placing them in the correct locations for dispatch
2. Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
3. Scanning, labelling, and checking parcels for accuracy
4. Keeping your work area clean, tidy, and safe
5. Working as part of a team to ensure targets and deadlines are met
What skills and experience do I need?
6. Previous warehouse or parcel sorting experience is helpful, but not essential – full training provided
7. Good attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
8. Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
9. Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
10. Positive attitude and solid work ethic
What hours will I be working?
5 shifts over 7 days (including potential weekend work)
Choose either:
11. Afternoon shift: 14:00 – 22:30
12. Night shift: 17:00 – 01:00
What will I be paid?
13. £12.21 per hour for hours worked between 14:00 and 21:59
14. £13.73 per hour for hours worked between 22:00 and 06:00
