How You’ll Help Us Make Health Happen
As our Senior Commercial Analyst you’ll get to know everything about Bupa. It’s about partnering, and as this role evolves you’ll have the opportunity to shape it and make it your own. The team works closely with senior stakeholders across our largest unit to set ambitious but achievable budget targets and develop and track pathways to achieve them over a 3-year horizon.
The Role
• The role will evolve over time and provide variety via working with different business functions and on projects. • Play a business partnering role in cost management across multiple business functions, supporting senior leaders to get optimal value from their budgets. • Initially responsible for financial planning and reporting on a c.£25m p.a. cost base and ~450 FTE. • Support financial planning and controls in the analysis of healthcare claims costs. • Support commercial prioritisation and success of Healthcare Leadership Savings of ~£10m p.a., including building robust forecasts and plans. • Build, strengthen and maintain stakeholder relationships at Director level, with the ability to be tenacious and challenging when required. • Analyse, advise and assess business cases, calculating ROIs, holding approval authority on business cases and tracking financial benefits for delivery. • Ensure process controls and KPIs are in place to monitor key business drivers.
Key Skills / Qualifications
* CIMA/ACCA qualified professional with 2-3 years PQE or demonstrable finance experience.
* An excellent communicator, comfortable presenting to stakeholders from Board level to front line.
* Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to push back and challenge when required.
* Ambitious with a desire to progress and establish a career within Bupa.
* Pro-active and keen to develop and learn new skills.
