Lead Clinician Occupational Therapist
Location: Bankside College – Worcestershire WR8 0AD
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday‑Friday
Contract: Permanent (52 weeks, term‑time flexibility available)
Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Responsibilities
* Clinically lead and manage the in‑house Clinical Team at Bankside College.
* Deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for students with complex needs, including autism, neurodivergence, developmental trauma and social, emotional and mental health requirements.
* Coordinate line management of team members and lead service development of the clinical school‑based service alongside the Senior Leadership Team and Regional Clinical Lead.
* Maintain person‑centred, empowering practice and a strong safeguarding culture.
* Ensure compliance with EHCP plans, using the OFG ‘all’, ‘group’ and ‘individual’ clinical ways of working.
* Provide supervision and support to the therapy team, fostering professional growth.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to research projects and special interest groups.
Qualifications
* BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy.
* Registered Practitioner with the HCPC or other approved governing body.
* Valid and up‑to‑date professional registration and membership of a professional body (e.g., BPS).
* Experience working with autistic individuals and/or those with complex needs.
* Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities.
* Experience providing supervision and supporting a therapy team.
* Ability to work independently, dynamically and within a growing clinical service.
* Experience in multi‑professional work with teams or services within the designated specialty.
