Are you an experienced water resources professional looking to make a real impact? Natural Resources Wales is recruiting a Lead Water Resources Specialist to help shape the future of sustainable water management in Wales.
In this pivotal role, you will lead the development and delivery of NRW's new Water Resources Availability Model, working closely with technical specialists, consultants, senior users, regulators and water companies. You'll guide requirements, oversee testing, produce training and guidance, and ensure the model supports robust, evidence‐based decisions on water abstraction and environmental protection.
We're looking for someone with:
* Strong knowledge of water resources and water availability assessments
* Experience in programme or project management
* Understanding of Welsh, UK and EU water legislation
* CIWEM membership (or working towards it)
