£400 - 500 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role
A specialist SEND provision is seeking to appoint a full-time Youth Offending Officer to join their dedicated team on a long-term basis. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with some of the area's most disengaged and vulnerable young learners, many of whom face complex emotional and behavioural challenges. Your role will be to provide both academic and emotional support, helping students re-engage with their education while developing a deeper understanding of their own behaviours and emotions. As a Youth Offending Officer you will play a vital part in promoting positive choices, building trust and guiding students toward more constructive pathways both inside and outside the classroom.
Qualifications
* Experience of working with students with Autism or other additional needs
* Excellent knowledge of and understanding of behaviour management
* A passion for education and helping people
* A nurturing and engaging personality
