Forensic Nurse or Paramedic - Carlisle Custody Suite
This is an exciting alternative career option open to RGN's and qualified Paramedics with 3+ years' post qualification experience. Custody is both a dynamic and lively environment, with no two days the same. The police can detain individuals for up to 24 hours, and within this time, we provide a high level of care to detainees, addressing needs that may include drug/alcohol dependency or acute medical episodes. Our healthcare professionals are fully trained to collect forensic samples to assist police investigations, although prior forensic experience is NOT NECESSARY.
As a Forensic Custody Healthcare Professional, you will work closely with the police and receive training and support to become an accredited Forensic Practitioner. If you're seeking better work-life balance and clearer boundaries, this role could be ideal. Part-time applications are welcome. This position is based within Carlisle Custody Suite.
