Deighton Primary School, Tredegar, is seeking to appoint a reliable and caring Midday Supervisor to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that pupils have a safe, enjoyable and well‑supervised lunchtime experience. The successful candidate will supervise pupils during the lunch break both in the dining hall and outdoor play areas, encouraging positive behaviour and ensuring the wellbeing and safety of all children. You will work closely with staff to maintain high standards of behaviour and support pupils in developing positive social interactions. Key responsibilities include: • Supervising pupils during the lunchtime period • Promoting positive behaviour and safe play • Supporting children in the dining hall and playground • Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of pupils at all times • Reporting any concerns or incidents to teaching staff This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
