We are seeking a talented individual to join our Underwriting team at Victor Insurance UK, Marsh. This hybrid role will be based in London, Bristol, Leeds or Essex, requiring a minimum of three days a week in the office.
Victor is one of the largest MGAs in the world and part of the Marsh McLennan group. Victor UK is a digitally enabled specialist MGA writing a book of commercial business spanning Property & Casualty, A&H, Motor, Financial Lines & Marine with specialist products delivering tailored solutions for targeted customer segments.
As a member of the CUO team, you will be expected to contribute towards the overall underwriting strategy and delivery of the business plan for Victor UK.
We now have a vacancy for a Senior Sports Underwriter / Sports Product Lead and we’re looking for someone to join our team and help scale this account as part of our 2028 growth strategy.
Responsibilities
* Own the existing Sports products and underwriting strategies ensuring a compelling proposition for customers and broker partners.
* Use market experience and connections to identify future growth opportunities for the Sports Practice, ensuring that we deliver good customer outcomes.
* Set direction for our Sports underwriters, empowering them to deliver for brokers and insurance capacity providers.
* Support the development of key broker relationships.
* Act as the senior authority holder for Sports in the UK and represent Victor UK in the Sports insurance market.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with our insurance capacity providers, building trust and developing proactive steering strategies that deliver insurer targets.
* Develop and deliver the Victor UK business plan for Sports and collaborate with peers to ensure overall objectives are achieved.
Qualifications
* A clear vision for a Sports proposition that delivers for customers, brokers, and insurer partners.
* Extensive experience in the Sports insurance sector.
* Excellent communication skills to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Enthusiasm and energy to drive the continued development of Victor’s standing in the market and deliver the Victor UK 2028 goals.
