Job Title: Catering Supervisor
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Catering Supervisor to join our dedicated team at the Western Isles Hospital. Working closely with the Catering Manager and Chefs, you will ensure high-quality service provision and adherence to food safety systems.
Salary: Plus £1,349 Distant Islands Allowance (pro rata)

Responsibilities
1. Support all catering staff within the department, ensuring systems and policies are followed across stores, kitchen, dining rooms, and patient food service.
2. Oversee front-of-house services and the daily operations of the catering department.
3. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene.
Qualifications and Skills
* Current intermediate food hygiene certificate.
* Understanding of food safety systems and allergen legislation.
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
* Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to service improvement.
Working Hours
Hours are over a 3-week cycle, up to 5 days per week, with shifts between 7am – 7:30pm, including occasional weekends.
