Site Manager / Project Manager - Fit Out & Refurbishment
Yorkshire / North (with wider travel as required)
I'm working with a well-established design & build / fit-out delivery team who are looking to bring in an experienced Project Manager to oversee a varied portfolio of commercial office fit-out and refurbishment schemes.
This is a client-facing role suited to someone comfortable operating across the full project lifecycle - from early engagement and planning through to delivery and handover - while also playing a part in maintaining and developing key client relationships.
The Role
You'll be responsible for managing multiple fit-out and refurbishment projects, ensuring they're delivered on time, within budget, and to the expected quality standards.
Leading projects from pre-construction through to completion
Managing day-to-day site and operational activity across live schemes
Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and internal delivery teams
Maintaining strong client relationships and acting as a key point of contact
Driving programme, commercial performance, and delivery targets
Supporting the wider team in identifying and developing new business opportunities
Ensuring compliance with H&S and company procedures at all stages
About You
This role will suit someone who has operated in a fast-paced, client-driven fit-out environment and can confidently manage multiple stakeholders.
Background in commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects
Recognised qualification in project management or construction-related discipline
Proven experience managing projects end-to-end
Strong client-facing experience, including account management
Ability to work in a results-driven, high-pressure environment
Confident decision-maker who can bring clarity and direction on site
Strong communication skills, comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders
Good working knowledge of project management systems and delivery processes
Technical understanding of interior finishes, construction methods, and compliance standards
Experience coordinating multiple trades and managing tight programmes
