ROLE SUMMARY
LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) is a leading global financial markets infrastructure and data provider. This role is part of the Risk Intelligence Engineering team.
Location: Nottingham or London, UK • Team: LSEG Risk Intelligence Engineering
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
* Automate full-stack infrastructure using Terraform and GitLab.
* Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI to enable fast, secure, and reliable software delivery.
* Deploy and manage Kubernetes workloads using Amazon EKS and Istio Service Mesh for service discovery, traffic management, and observability.
* Implement monitoring and alerting to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with development and business goals.
* Continuously improve systems through automation, performance tuning, and process optimisation.
* Contribute to our DevOps culture, sharing knowledge and best practices across the team.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
* Demonstrable AWS and Kubernetes (EKS) expertise.
* Hands‑on experience with Terraform, GitLab CI and Bash/Python.
* Experience with orchestration and monitoring tools – Istio, Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK.
* 4+ years in DevOps or Platform Engineering roles.
* Proven experience building and operating cloud‑native platforms.
* Strong communication, problem solving and collaboration skills.
PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
* Development experience in a major language (Java, C++, C# etc.).
* AWS certifications and financial services background.
* Career stage: Senior Associate.
