EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant for EYFS Support ( Mornings Only and EYFS experience essential) In early years, the right support at the right moment can change how a child experiences their day. In this EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant role, you will be that person. This is a mornings only position at a mainstream school in Coventry, supporting a young pupil (3 years old) who is on the pathway for an autism diagnosis. If successful, you will work from 8:30 to 12:30, Monday to Friday. This is a role for someone who notices the small things, whether it is how they respond to a new activity or what helps them stay calm when the room gets busy. Responsibilities * Provide one to one support each morning, 8:30 to 12:30 * Help the child take part in sensory play, routines, and early learning * Support communication and interaction using simple strategies * Offer reassurance during transitions and busy moments * Carry out personal care when needed * Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO * Contribute to short notes that support ongoing assessments Requirements * Experience supporting autistic children within the last three years * Recent experience in an EYFS or nursery setting (essential) * Understanding of early years development and sensory needs * Calm, patient, and consistent approach * Ability to form trusting relationships with young children * Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one What We Offer * Mornings only, Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 12:30 * Long term consistency in one school * Support from a SEND specialist agency Why Sprint?
