Our client, a well-established family-run commercial vehicle dealership group with a history spanning over 50 years, is looking to recruit a dedicated Vehicle Service Advisor to join their busy Bicester dealership. Benefits: Competitive starting salary of £28,000 to £34,000 per annum, dependent on experience Performance-related bonus of up to £4,000 annually Optional overtime at enhanced rates of time and a half 30 days holiday including bank holidays, with holiday purchase scheme and increasing entitlement with service Manufacturer-accredited training and development programmes Pension scheme, maternity/paternity pay, staff purchase discounts, and cycle-to-work scheme The opportunity to work within an award-winning, family-run business with over 50 years of industry experience Fixed weekly hours, with a three-weekly shift pattern Duties: Ensure the seamless operation of the Service Department and enhance profitability Deliver exceptional customer service through effective communication and relationship management Book in vehicles, coordinating appointments to optimise workshop capacity and customer convenience Identify customer requirements and provide accurate, fully inclusive cost estimates Generate detailed job cards, invoices, and estimates, ensuring accuracy and completeness Explain work carried out to customers, maximising additional sales opportunities Manage warranty job cards in line with manufacturer policies and procedures Record all work requirements accurately, including retail, warranty, internal, and non-chargeable repairs Liaise with parts department to ensure timely availability of necessary parts Requirements: Proven experience as a Vehicle Service Advisor is highly advantageous; Service Advisors from a strong customer service background with industry experience will also be considered Strong organisational skills and IT proficiency, with experience using Kerridge/Keyloop DMS system considered beneficial Excellent communication skills, enabling superior customer service delivery Ability to work effectively as part of a team within a fast-paced environment Valid UK driving licence with minimal points This is an excellent opportunity for a professional Service Advisor to join a forward-thinking, family-run enterprise recognised for its commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
