We're hiring a Housekeeping Manager!

We're seeking a passionate, results-driven manager - someone who loves leading people and takes pride in exceptional housekeeping standards.
You’ll head up our friendly Housekeeping team across Henshaws College in Harrogate and our Arts & Crafts Centre in Knaresborough, so flexibility to travel between sites is key. Your visible presence and approachable style will help you build great relationships, motivate the team, and ensure our environments are always clean, safe, and welcoming.
You’ll set the tone by planning and monitoring daily activity, carrying out regular inspections, and maintaining high standards through clear communication and teamwork. With a practical eye and proactive approach, you’ll make sure your team has everything they need – from training and support to the right equipment – to work efficiently and safely.
As our go-to person for housekeeping and cleaning excellence across our Yorkshire operations, you’ll champion consistency, quality and pride in every space we care for.

* Salary: £15.37per hour/£30,371.12 per annum
* Hours per week: 38
* Weeks per year: 52
* Contract: Permanent
* Annual leave: 5 weeks plus 10 days' bank holiday
* Location: Henshaws College, with regular travel across sites to our Arts & Crafts Centre in Knaresborough
* Closing Date: 28th November 2025 - 12noon.
Requirements
* Experience of working as a leader in a housekeeping/cleaning environment
* Level 5 Management qualification or a commitment to work towards within 2 years or evident experience at this level
* Knowledge and understanding of hygiene and cleanliness, both best practices and regulations
* An understanding of infection control, and COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) with relevant qualification or open to work towards them.
* Enthusiastic, respectful and sensitive attitude to the client group
