You will be working in the Building Services based in Mansfield Hospital in Sutton in Ashfield in where we are responsible for creating healthy workplaces, comfortable homes and efficient facilities that improve people’s lives. Through collaboration and innovation, we deliver high-quality solutions that make a lasting, positive impact for people and communities.
We are currently looking for a Joiner who will be responsible for efficiently and effectively carryout routine maintenance, planned, breakdown and emergency maintenance of a complete range of fittings at Trust properties.
As the Joiner, you will:
1. Maintain and repair a complete range of both internal and external fittings and fixtures.
2. The completion of tasks either as part of the PPM system or routine/planned works.
3. Undertake work using ladders and access equipment as required in a safe manner and ensuring tools etc are checked regularly under Skanska Safe Working Policy.
4. Determine what spares, components or supplies are needed in order to satisfactorily undertake and complete the work associated with repair, routine servicing or for new work.
5. Complete all record sheets and paperwork associated with routine duties accurately and in good time.
We are looking for:
6. Schedule work out of hours when required to suite the need of the environment.
7. Competent user of PC’s and emailing systems
8. Good understanding of health and safety.
9. Hold a full UK driving licence.
10. NVQ level 3 carpentry and joinery or equivalent.
