Behaviour Specialist
A dynamic Pupil Referral Unit in L9 is seeking a Behaviour Specialist to support a small KS3 class of male pupils with complex behavioural needs. This full-time role demands resilience, initiative, and a deep commitment to helping young people re-engage with learning.
What you’ll be doing:

Supporting pupils with SEMH needs, trauma, and challenging behaviours
*
Leading de-escalation, regulation, and restorative strategies
*
Working closely with teaching staff to create a safe, structured environment
*
Building trust and consistency through clear boundaries and positive relationships
What we’re looking for:

Experience in PRUs, SEMH schools, or youth work settings
*
Confidence managing behaviour and promoting emotional regulation
*
A proactive, solution-focused mindset and strong team ethic
*
Ability to stay calm, consistent, and compassionate in high-pressure situations
