We are working with an independent small animal practice in Bolsover who are looking for a Permanent Veterinary Nurse to join their team, working between their two branches in Bolsover and Sheffield.
The role will involve all aspects of nursing so you must be capable in all areas, pulling from your experience working in practice. You will be prepared to develop your skills by working closely with the whole team. You must have an excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
This role is full time for 41.5 hours per week over 5 days with shifts of 8 hours from 8am to 7:30pm, along with 2 in 7 weekends. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

12. Team: 6 vets, 7 RVNs, 2 SVNs and a supportive non-clinical team
Duties and responsibilities:
13. To carry out medical and surgical treatment of all patients in line with the RCVS code of conduct and practice policy
14. To demonstrate and ensure high clinical standards alongside the veterinary surgeons
15. To create and implement treatment plans for patients and liaise with team members to ensure this is carried out accordingly
16. To carry out consultations and complete all clinical notes in relation to each patient that day
17. To complete all administrative tasks related to the treatment and referral of patients accurately and completely and in a timely manner
18. To ensure that all aspects of Health and Safety Policies and procedures are always adhered to, including the reporting of accidents and substandard equipment
19. To always put the wellbeing of the patient at the forefront of everything you do
20. To support and work collaboratively with all staff within the practice both clinical and non-clinical

Package:
