We're looking for a
Procurement Manager
to join our Natural Resources team, within a commutable distance to Falmer. In this role, you'll be the procurement manager for our new 7-year, c£1bn framework with Southern Water.
Location : Hybrid working with weekly visits to sites and the Falmer office, East Sussex
Contract : Permanent, Full Time – flexible and part-time hours may be available if desired, just let us know
Responsibilities
Supporting the team with sourcing, negotiation, and governance of goods and subcontract procurement.
Ensuring procurement policies of Kier Group and the Framework are adhered to.
Supporting the Procurement / Commercial Lead in developing Framework procurement strategy.
Ensuring subcontractors and suppliers have relevant Health and Safety Accreditation, Sustainability, and Carbon reduction policies that align with Kier standards.
Negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure contractual risks & KPIs are balanced and work with budgets/estimating outputs to assess selection criteria.
Developing and owning preferred suppliers & strategic partnerships to deliver value for money and high-quality services.
What are we looking for?

Procurement Manager
is ideal if:
You are an experienced professional responsible for strategic project decisions.
You have experience within the infrastructure/utilities sector, including civil engineering and MEICA requirements.
You hold a relevant degree and a chartered status or professional qualification.
You have knowledge of SAP SRM and Jaggaer systems.
