Job context: we require an experienced F&B Supervisor to work within our busy restaurant, function areas and Bars.
Primary duties and responsibilities
* Ensuring that customer service levels are upheld to the high standard of the hotel
* The provision of quality food and beverage products to a diverse client base.
* Being able to carry out basic training e.g. Coffee, Wine etc.
* Ensuring General cleaning duties within Bars and public seating areas is upheld to the highest possible standard.
* Responding to management instructions.

Skills & Specifications
* Minimum 6 months’ relevant experience.
* Excellent communication skills.
* GCSE Math’s & English, or equivalent.
* Ability to work on own initiative and lead a team of approx.10-15 people.
* Ability to work under pressure in a busy customer focused environment.
* Willingness to undertake any necessary training e.g. Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
* Hotel operates 7 days per week 24 hours a day, so availability to work weekends and evenings is essential.
* Ability to work in all areas of Food and Beverage including Bar, Restaurant, Room Service and Conference and Events desirable
* Welcome guests in a polite and friendly manner
* Take and deliver customer orders, consistently demonstrating high levels of customer service
* Ensure preparation/set ups for tables meet the standards of the company.
* Follow cash handling & till reconciliation procedures per company policy.
* Manage guest queries and complaints in a timely and efficient manner
* Ensuring staff upsell all products and have sufficient knowledge to carry this out.
* Ensure compliance of Brand Standards
* Strive to achieve departmental targets.
* Ensure cleanliness of work areas
* Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
* Be knowledgeable of local licensing laws
* Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships.

* Commitment to ensure staff are delivering high levels of customer service at all times.
* Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
* Ability to work on your own and manage teams of staff.
