Sport and Fitness Technician
17.5 hours per week
(Please note evening and weekend work may be required)
Salary: DA6 - £14,503 - £15,352 per annum pro rata (Full Time Salary, £29,006 - £30,704 per annum)
Campus: Gardyne
The College is seeking to appoint a Sport and Fitness Technician on a part-time basis. The post will be based at the Gardyne Campus, although the role will cover the Arbroath College campus for the department.
In addition to the key areas identified in the Job description, the role requires the job holder to be highly motivated in providing technical support to teaching staff and students within the Sports and fitness department. Experience of working within a sporting environment is also required and you must be able to demonstrate strong organisational capabilities and be able to prioritise and meet the high volume of demands placed on the Sports and Fitness curriculum team. Providing first and/or second line support, the post-holder will be expected to prioritise and manage their time and liaise with colleagues in the Sports and fitness team, alongside the wider College community, to deliver high standards of customer care and ensure compliance with health and safety policies.
The job holder must also have highly effective communication and interpersonal skills.
