Principal Purpose of Position:
* Manage inbound materials/supply chain to support contract delivery programmes and production plans in line with budgetary metrics.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
* Computer literate and have a proficient level of Excel, Word, and Outlook skills.
* Understanding and experience in administrative roles with a willingness to learn new skills and procurement principles.
* Excellent communication skills internally and externally both verbal and written.
* A can-do attitude with good organisational skills and capable working at a fast pace.
* Able to create and maintain professional relationships with suppliers and colleagues in line with DATIM’s core values.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
* Raise and send purchase orders to supplier for stock, project specific and consumable requirements.
* Resolve supplier enquiries regarding order status, changes to orders and cancellations.
* Collaborate with suppliers to schedule and expedite deliveries, resolving shortages and late deliveries where applicable.
* Ensure purchasing requirements are managed to optimise stock levels including utilisation of surplus stock.
* Maintain Realtime system with delivery dates to ensure accurate procurement reporting is always available.
* Working with the goods in teams to ensure that all materials are receipted within agreed timescales.
* Liaise with production planner, project manager and production team to ensure accurate launch to manufacture.
* Building strong relationships internally and externally
* Provide supplier performance information in relation to quality and OTIF.
* Resolve invoice queries in a timely manner.
* Perform other administrative duties as required to ensure the smooth running of the supply chain.
