Senior Management Accountant
As a Senior Management Accountant, you will enjoy working within a diverse and welcoming culture, where you will gather and analyse financial information for internal use, compile forecasts to assist business planning and decision-making and provide insight into variances.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Carry out internal and Group reporting procedures including the compilation of management accounts
2. Support Budgeting and Forecasting process
3. Cash management and Forecasting for the business
4. Evaluate the company’s performance using key data
5. Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
6. Oversee tax related issues at the company and liaise with other stakeholders on tax matters
7. Calculate Research & Development tax credit for company
8. Support Financial Controller in any areas that are required
9. Advise on problems and suggest improvements
10. Supervise lower-level personnel
The Key Requirements:
11. Proven experience as management accountant, finance professional or similar role
12. Strong knowledge of FP&A and month end processes
13. Working knowledge of ERP software (ideally SAP or IFS) and Microsoft Excel
14. Analytical mind with aptitude in maths
15. Excellent communication and presentation skills
16. A problem-solver with attention to detail
17. Relevant certification CIMA, ACCA or ACA) or working towards one
Where you will work
ROMSEY - Alongside hybrid and flexible working options, you’ll find our Romsey site located within beautiful Hampshire countryside, close to the picturesque New Forest District and not far from a superb stretch of the south coast. This is no corporate concrete jungle; this is a manor house site, with ample parking an on-site gym and a driveway full of daffodils in the spring.
