Job Description
3. Oversee and manage tax compliance processes for a variety of clients.
4. Prepare & review personal tax work, working papers, and reports for accuracy
5. provide expert technical advice in areas such as reorganisations, property structuring, or shareholder exits
6. Ensure all tax filings and submissions are accurate and completed on time.
7. Collaborate with internal teams to provide seamless service delivery.
8. Stay updated with changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on clients.
9. Assist in audits and liaise with tax authorities when required.
10. Develop and maintain strong client relationships to understand their specific needs.
11. Manage workload and run weekly team updates
12. Train and mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and performance.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Tax Manager should have:
13. Professional qualification in accountancy or tax (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CTA, ATT).
14. A minimum of 3years experience operating as an Assistant Manager or above
15. Strong knowledge of UK tax legislation and compliance requirements.
16. Experience in managing tax processes within the business services industry.
17. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
18. Ability to build and maintain client relationships effectively.
19. Proficiency in tax software and relevant IT systems.
20. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
21. Capability to mentor and lead a team successfully.
